"This place is clean and efficient. The carne asada was delicious. The muffins were soft and moist on the inside, with that awesome firm muffin top. I noticed the workers dont like to be asking anything, so just get what you need n go. Even if you speak spanish they seem to be inconvenienced.. If they read these, what other flavors of juice do you make in-house? Carrot? Veggie? Pineapple?"
"I visited later in the day. I'm guessing there is much more prepared food selection earlier. I stopped mainly because I've had a menu do craving. Like many similar markets, it is only sold on weekends. I did confirm their menu do also contains posole and pork. They also sell just poodle. Today we bought a half roasted chicken, carnitas and tortillas. Looks delicious."
"Great prices on food ECT. But the staff there is just horrible unethical. Unprofessional. I completely was discriminated against, felt so uncomfortable and embarrassed! Guess cause I didn't speak Spanish or looked like a Mexican/Hispanic!"
"This is a fantastic grocery store. Extravagantly low prices on a lot of things, especially produce, without sacrificing quality. Workers are mostly friendly and helpful, and, despite being an uncultured English-speaking monolingual, I have no difficulty navigating the store primarily geared toward Spanish speakers. However, I have to give 4 stars because of how poorly the meat counter is run. The quality and prices of their meat are good — however, the prices charged frequently don't match the prices posted, the procedure for actually getting service is confusing and inconsistent, and I've frequently been given vastly different quantities than I've ordered. Three times I've asked for half a pound and received closer to a pound and a half — and I know this wasn't a communication error because the third time the employee repeated it back to me and specifically asked if it was okay if it was a little over. It wasn't a little over, it was almost 200% over. That's a huge discrepancy. The first time I went there, there was nothing indicating how to actually be served and I had to stand there looking like a fool until someone eventually explained the number system to me. And several times I've taken a number and they've skipped over me — or, if they called it, it wasn't in a manner that I could hear. Would it be that hard to put up an electronic sign that displays which number is being served? The girl who usually seems to get the job of calling out the numbers seems very nice and like she's trying her best, but it's too big of a job with too bad of a system — and the result is stressful and disorderly even when the meat counter isn't crowded. The product is still worth the trouble — but with as little effort as it would take to improve the system, ensure consistency in pricing, and hold employees accountable for at least someone following directions, there's really not a good excuse for it to be as big of a mess as it is."
