Reviews of Kickstand Cycle & Cafe
"What an absolutely delightful place. We found Kickstand Cycles because I needed a bike rack. Not only did they have exactly what we wanted in stock, they called back and were helpful and friendly. Then we went in and saw their cafe and coffee shop. Since it was coffee time, we tried their breakfast burritos and caramel coffees. They were absolutely terrific. Great flavor, freshly prepared and the temperature of the coffee was perfectly drinkable - hot but not so hot that you had to wait. But as good as the food and drink were, the people here were even better. Very, very pleasant, friendly, helpful and conversational. The price on the bike rack was certainly fair and Derrick and Will were very helpful. They have a good selection of bikes here as well as eBikes - if I had to buy a new bike I would definitely look here first. This is the kind of Andy Griffith Show customer service that you usually don't get any more. I will absolutely return just for the great service although there were a bunch of desserts in the cooler that were calling my name. The breakfast burritos and coffee were great, too. If I could give more than five stars, I would."
"Loved the sausage and egg breakfast sandwich - the eggs were fabulous. The size of the lemonade serving was definitely worth the price and the raspberry mocha was also great. It’s also in a nice location, the decor is really cute, and the fresh flowers on every table was a nice touch. Additionally, everyone was really friendly. Will definitely be back!"
"Everything was amazing! I ordered the raspberry mocha 1/2 sweet with oatmilk and it was to die for! The avocado toast was also one of the best I've had!!! this was my first time dining here and the staff was incredibly friendly! Would definitely recommend and I think we found our Sunday brunch spot."
"The cutest local coffee/bike shop right by the bosque and Rio grande. Perfect morning walk experience! As soon as you walk in you are greeted by vibrant colors and delicious pastries. The coffee is stellar! Cappuccinos, raspberry mocha and even just a regular black cup of Joe so good *chefs kiss*. The spinach quiche was very tasty. The owners are very friendly and have put their heart into this place as you can tell immediately! Looking forward to my next visit here! Great bike and outdoor themed gifts to sort through as well!"
"I've been here about 4 times now and since the beginning, all the experiences are lovely. I was treated like a regular since the first visit. My first meal here was a Mozzarella and Basil panini and the first Pumpkin Spice Latte I've ever had. Everything was incredible. Every sandwich, burrito, and drink is delicious, and if you eat in, you get to drink the hot drinks out of their patterned porcelain cups! Even when they did everything right today, when they checked on me and I said "oh, I forgot to ask for no mustard. I didn't realize it came with mustard," instead of just giving me a mustard free bun, Mike REMADE the sandwich even though I told him it was okay! Amazing! The deçor is charming and sweet (lots of native forest animals- especially owls and foxes) with several pieces for sale by local artists. Bikes greet you at the front (and are also for sale!) and there is outdoor seating under the patio, dog friendly with water and treats! So many lovely pretty delicious pastries and treats made by the café and brought from Chocolate Maven in Santa Fe. There are other things for sale like T-shirts, stickers, water thermoses, and health or nature related books. Everyone working here is a team player and incredibly welcoming. Instant new favorite I plan on visiting for a long time.:)"
