Nk's Royal Truck Stop LLC

"Nk's is the place where the Greyhound stops in Gallup. The parking area is filled with potholes and hasn't been maintained at all. The bathrooms are filthy. Stop somewhere else for gas and snacks!"

"I was a little hesitant to stop in, but it is on my fuel route. I stayed here last night and it was quiet. Even the neighborhood was respectful with the fireworks and stopped around midnight. I rolled over for fuel and from the moment I walked in, I was treated great. The building is old and ran down, but they try and keep it maintained. The guy behind the register was happy and jokes with me. I got my fuel and went back in for a shower. The maintenance guy offered me an extra towel and unlocked the shower. The first one had an odor and he immediately put me in another one. I was prepared for trickle water pressure. Nope it was awesome! If I didn't have to get down the road I'd still be in there. It isn't glitzy or glam, but it serves a purpose and they do it well!"

"Had no choice but to pull into this truck stop on 11-02-21. Was actually heading into TA across the street. It was a nightmare at about 3:00 PM. Who was the genius in the Gallup, New Mexico Zoning department, that allowed THREE truckstops on the same corner? There is TA, Love's and this place NK. There was a line of trucks waiting to pull into the TA. Had to turn around down the street and park in NK truck stop. This place is dirty. Trash out front of the entrance in the morning left since yesterday. I went in for coffee, which was not bad. However, for some reason they had the truck parts/gift section chained off. I used the men's room in the back by the showers and it wasn't too bad. The shower cost $10.00 which is 3 to 4 dollars cheaper than other truck stops. I didn't want to chance it and walked across the street to Love's to use the shower. They dismantled the CAT SCALE so scale across the street if you need to. There is an Indian (Asian) restaurant on the premises. Food pretty good, but had to take my dinner out to truck as the dining room is closed. I asked why and the response was "cannot find employees". No doubt as why would anyone want to work in this run down truck stop? I would avoid this place."
