"Here we go again - an owner who is never present and who apparently cares so little about the regular crowd that one pool table has been broken for at least two months, the other for a week, and the third now just takes quarters (and likely will soon be full up) because she can’t be bothered to come get our dollar bills out of the collection box until this happens - and even then it takes like a week. Just pay someone to fix them already and give the keys to the bartenders like literally every other bar I’ve been to across the country. And, all of the above happens reg.u.lar.ly. Watched at least 30 people walk in and immediately out the last two days. Let’s be clear - there are several nights a week that the pool playing regulars and our non-playing friends are 50-75% of the business for several hours of the night. This pattern is simply disrespectful and so easy to fix that it feels purposeful at worst, lazy in the middle, and just cheapskate at best. As a group of 25-30 regular players here, we bring several thousands of dollars to this bar every month. We invite people we play with in league to here and now are embarrassed to do so. We hold regular tournaments here and now don’t think we can because we don’t trust the tables. To be clear - the bartenders are some of the best in town and I’m sure their take of tips clearly suffers from the walk in/walk out pattern. The community of people that come regularly are about as chill as you can get but also about as fed up as we can be. Ready to find a new place to take our business. "Our bartender was nice when we went on a Friday night. It's a typical old school dark bar. The kind you remember your parents going to. With all the breweries with all the attractions you kinda realize this is we've people go to talk and not do anything but focus on your partner. It has its charm but be aware. It's just a bar, you came to drink. We also went on theorvtaco day and it was fine. They are hard shell good ol American tacos. Again it's dark in there and your focus should be on your company. I can't say it's for me but I can see how others find it to be their home on their way home."

"Long time, faithful customer of Louie's, but the prices have become ridiculous. $7 for a 12oz Tecate can is insulting. Other drinks are similar, some are reasonable, but local competitors remain to have cheaper prices. The pool crowd is great, and they are carrying business, but that might not last long. I've certainly noticed less customers and have heard the negative buzz about the prices. It's a shame, because it's a beautiful bar, with great bartenders, and delicious food, especially their New Mexican menu. It could be 5 stars, again!"

"Well this place is exactly what you would expect. Super friendly staff, food amazing and the jukebox full of all kinds of music. My only complaint is that the prices are waaayyyy too high! What happened? I would go almost every weekend, but now…. I can’t afford it and I think that’s the same for a lot of people. I was there on a Saturday night, which has always been extremely busy…. Well not that Saturday night. Crickets… maybe a handful of people. I bet if they lowered the prices, this place will be packed again."

"Louie’s pub is a fun neighborhood bar where everyone is a friend! The bar staff is absolutely amazing and Amanda is pretty and awesome herself! I loved the house burger with a nice fresh side salad and I’m excited to try the other menu dishes! I know this is my new favorite spot when I visit Albuquerque!!
