"Juan is awesome. He's the reason I opened an account here, such a solid dude. I appreciated all his help opening a business account, and he saved me a bunch of time before coming in by getting everything squared away for me first before even stepping foot in the branch."
"Staff is always wonderful and heartwarming to my day.. thank you for the lovely Service"
"Great customer service. Mr. Juan Lopez was patient in listening and answered my questions; he took time to ensure he provided the product I was needing. Very helpful!"
"Such great service from Pauline and Sergio!!! They waited a few extra minutes to allow me to get to their branch before they closed!! And on a Friday. Much appreciated!! Thank you both!!"
"Washington Federal likes to collect money, but they don't like to lend money. My husband and I applied for a home loan earlier this month. I won't post details for the sake of privacy, but I can say we are in good financial health, and the home we're looking to buy is for sale for less than it's worth. Every time I dealt with Wesley, he acted as if he had no idea who we were, even after meeting him more than once. Carol is just a treat to work with, too (sarcasm). She is utterly condescending in her demeanor, and refused to correct paperwork when I asked. They tried so hard to rope us into a 30-year loan, even though we were specific from the beginning that we only wanted a 15-year. There are exorbitant fees and requests for inspections that go beyond a simple appraisal. And if you don't have an account with them, and want paper statements? Oh, that'll be a one-time set up fee of $400. How about I give you a ream of paper and a book of stamps instead? Sound good? They rely heavily on Experian for credit reporting, even though they're the most antiquated and error-prone of all the reporting bureaus. Carol had a gleeful sneer in her in voice when she called to inform us that the loan request was denied. In the end, I'm glad I don't have to do business with Washington Federal for the next 15 years, considering their approach and attitude towards potential customers. Enjoy that $37.00 loan application fee, because that's all the money you'll ever get from me. UPDATE: Hi, Maria. Even though I'm using a moniker, it should be easy enough for branch staff to figure out who I am. If they're actually interested in working with me, Mr. Lopez, the branch manager, is welcome to reach out. However, I doubt I'll hear from them."
