"I went to this salon on a personal recommendation. When I got there, I was seen by the owner. I felt unwelcome there immediately. I imagine it's because I'm a man. I asked for a high fade and was told that she didn't know what that was and if I was asking for something else. Literally every barber I have been to knows what a high fade is, but this so-called master stylist had no idea. During the haircut, she kept saying that she was a "stylist" and not a "barber" as though a simple haircut was somehow beneath her status or something. Personally I felt like I was unwanted there and won't be going back."
