"Dr. Bob was my first dentist and 100% gave me some form of PTSD regarding dentists. I had two cavities filled by him when I was very young, and they didn’t use any numbing or sedation so I felt everything. I was probably 8 years old or younger, so that level of pain left me scarred from that point on. 10+ years later I still am uncomfortable and scared in dentist offices and I do blame him fully. I was screaming in pain that day and all he said to me was “stop screaming or I’ll have to start over”. Needless to say my parents never took me back to his office and I’ve since found a very caring and gentle dentist elsewhere. The trauma that man put me through has followed me my whole life and no kid should have to be afraid of something as simple as going to the dentist like I do. Call me a a snowflake or say I’m too sensitive, but get two cavities filled with no anaesthetic first and then see how you feel. TL;DR Dr. Bob traumatised me as a child and I’m still scared of dentists 10 years later. Please don’t let him anywhere near your children"

"Really? My review gets removed because I said the truth? Ha. No..remove, and I will keep posting. I worked for "Dr." Robert Belfon for just a few months in 2013, and I want to say this because people have a right to know who this guy really is..Those reviews talking about how great he is..do you notice how it's a "Google user" and doesn't show a name? That's because he has the dental assistants that are working for him, write those reviews! Anyways, this guy is a pig! I did work there, and not only was it unsanitary, it was unsafe. They reused dirty instruments without sanitizing them..they NEVER called the company that is supposed to pick up the red container that had used needles (numbing agents) in them...even after it was over flowing! He almost always overlooked safety procedures for both patients and his staff! He would eat like the pig he is, while his patient would be on the chair with their mouth wide open, full of equipment. Also taking personal calls while he'd be working on his patient (ordering a freaking cake for his dogs birthday...seriously. Don't even get me started on his wife, who is the hygienist. I don't know about now, but back then she certainly didn't have a dentistry license, and she would do procedures that she legally should have NOT been doing!! You have no idea how wrong and messed up that is..AND I will say two last things..one, him and his wife have a track record for abusing their animals. They had extremely malnourished horse on their property and they were fined for it. Two, and this is probably the most F***ED UP thing he has ever done..Ok so as dental assistants, you can read an x-ray of teeth, but you are not allowed to tell a patient that they have a cavity or need a root canal, because as I said that's a dentists part..so this dude would misdiagnose patients, children and adults alike!! He would literally tell someone, "Oh you need a root canal, etc etc) even though the person DID NOT! Don't get me wrong, some patients did, but a lot of them didn't, and then he'd botch the job just so he can charge more and to the point where their mouth had to be fixed elsewhere because he either did it wrong, left debris in the tooth...you get the picture..it was so wrong. Now I'm not telling everyone this because I'm trying to get back at him (I had quit, no firing) no way...I just want everyone to know who this guy is, and not to be fooled by these reviews or his facade because he is not a good dentist, nor is he a good person...NO WAY! Protect yourself. 0/5 stars"

"The horror of the experience is still going. Why didn't we read these reviews 6 years ago. All of the work he did on our daughter has subsequently failed. The fillings fell out and now a metal cap popped off. And guess what, the TOOTH IS ROTTEN underneath! I look at the other cap and just pray that it was done correctly, but hope is not strong. This man should be out of business, sued for malpractice, and have his teeth pulled out. I am not a hateful man, but this guy makes my blood boil. DO NOT GO TO HIM!"

"0 STARS omg!! I'm not alone ???? I need a good lawyer to sue this monster. I'm 28 years ols and he root canaled all my teeth wrong which had to be removed I have no teeth due to him. My so called root canals would fall apart and my insurance never paid for it I had to out of pocket and I'm low income. My younger daughter got 2 root canals done from the age of 6-8 and never needed them she is in therapy now because he has terrified her from all dentists due to him telling her to shut up and theres no way it could be hurting her even though he was drilling in her mouth, on my older daughter the sealants were done wrong and she got an infection in her gums from it. Her adult teeth were blocked from coming out by his root canals. We would go in there for clean ups and all a sudden root canal is all I ever heard him say. I thought it was just me because he made me seem like it was saying I was the worst case he had ever seen!!!! I had perfect teeth with minor cavities before I went there and on top of that we would spend all day there waiting even though we had a appointment. So glad I left there before he could do more damage to my children as for me he ruined my life! My confidence is gone I'm very insecure now when I was once very confident person. I cant smile, eat what I want or ever be normal again due to what he has done. And everything about him talking on the phone during procedures and eating in surgery room are true. He also would be ordering lunch while working on my mouth !!!!!!! He could never keep employees every time I went there was new girls there the only good one was named Desiree and she left pretty quick too and I'm sure it was by choice cause she was amazing. Everything that Ive said is 100% true! I swear ! that's not even everything that occurred while under his care there's so much more like a screwed tooth falling out !!! Him removing a crown and leaving it exposed because I got a gum infection. His wife is really rude and I have a feeling shes not supposed to be doing procedures. Our new dentist was astonished by all the mess and procedures that were done improperly in both mine and my older daughters mouth, my youngest has to see a specialist to even get a simple cleaning. He is also racist both my girls witnessed him talking and comforting a younger African American girl during a procedure and when it was my daughters turn he told her to shut up!!!!! I cant believe I trusted this guy thinking because he calls himself a dentist and oral surgeon he was exactly that I was wrong and my family learned the hard rough way and I wish I never went there. I have no clue how hes still in business he needs to be closed down and sued for everything hes done its not right and he has ruined many lives including innocent children and will continue to as long as he is able to he makes a living doing this.!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE DONT GO HERE IT WILL RUIN YOU LIFE AND YOUR CHILDRENS DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID CAUSE IM PAYING FOR IT NOW AND I WILL PAY FOR IT THE REST OF MY LIFE I HOPE ALL THAT HES DONE WILL ONE DAY HAUNT HIM !!!!!!!!"

"One of my biggest regrets is allowing this man to treat my children. I trusted his professional opinion and absolutely regret ever going to his office. He told my husband and I that my 7 year old son needed four root canals on his permanent molars. He stated that my son's molars were so badly damaged by past fevers that if we didn't do the procedure as soon as possible my son would end up with a major infection. We agreed to have one root canal completed immediately and paid extra to have a porcelain finished cap. After the procedure was completed he then stated that he would have to place a temporary silver cap due to the porcelain crown not being available. After several follow ups and multiple excuses on why it wasn't ready the crown was finally placed. The crown was several sizes too big and made it uncomfortable for my son to chew. After experiencing a lack of professionalism and dirty environment I decided to take my son to a different dentist. I was told that his molars were all healthy and they highly doubted that a root canal on a 7 year old for damage caused by sickness was ever necessary. My son is now fourteen and stuck with an ugly porcelain cap. The icing on the cake is about 5 years later I received a letter from a collection agency for 50.00. When I called the office and spoke to his wife she was unable to give me a detailed bill or explain why I was sent to collections. She was extremely rude and hung up on me. Please do not take your children to this man."
