Reviews of Family Dollar
"Black Friday sale did not apply at this store. Manager said I was wrong. I asked for a copy of there add she said they did not have one . I went to another store and they were so nice I found a lot of nice Xmas decor"
"I have been a customer here for the last 7 years. I don't like going to Walmart and prefer smaller stores. Recently, maybe the last 2 years there is a new manager and at first she seemed very nice but I think she became jaded because she started being rude to customers, blocking parts of the store, and added poles to carts. On my pay days I go shopping and fill my cart up. It was a pain when they added the poles because then I had to make multiple trips with bags to my car. I watched her and another Hispanic staff yell at people about stealing but I was just watching until one day the register female accused me of stealing and went through my cart after I paid. I thought that was embarrass and so rude since they have seen me shopping there for years. Now I can't go into the dog food area or cleaning supply areas without ladders and carts blocking. Today it was so frustrating that I left my cart. I spend about 100 to 200 dollars a week there and I could prove that if asked, through bank statements. I no longer want to shop there. I think it got to her head, being a manager, and I think her stocking and distrust for customers has got in the way of her customer service. I think she forgot who pays the bills. So I will no longer give my money to your store. At this point, I prefer Walmart because I can actually take my cart to my car instead of making multiple trips with both hands full of bags. She's more interested in thief's than actual customers satisfaction. It's like when gas stations stop letting customers use the bathroom because the few incidents of drug addicts in there. Why punish the actual customers? So that 800 dollars I spend a month is going to Walmart because of her and that rude Hispanic wannabee police officer. I am Hispanic myself so not being racist but I didn't catch her name."
"They bold guy managing this store right now really needs to make sure he accuses the right people from stealing. Don't go to this store they assume everyone is stealing, but not the accurate people who really are . He's pathetic looser."
"I tried to get a job there but they said I had to get a background check. I wasn’t worried about the background check but she said the day of the interview it would send in 30 mins 4 days pass by and I ask if I can come in and get this figured out but she said she was too busy and I thought this was the end of it but she calls the next day and says come in so we can do the background check so I come in and try to figure this out and still no luck so she tells me to get a computer and try and there I try and there and nothing then I get more calls and just say screw it im not gonna get a job there"
