"As a caterer for a nephews wedding at BH Reception, Barb and her staff were extremely accommodating with where to set up, needed refrigeration space, and even having available items, for a minimal fee, that I had forgotten at home. The gals there came in and made me look good. Also, the reception hall and wedding venue is absolutely beautiful which made the event look like a million bucks. The staff is incredible, helpful and actively involved with taking care of the guests 110%! I will spread the news - Black Hills Reception is a top of the line Venue for any event. The sky's the limit!"

"It is no joke when they say they do it all! We got married 8/19/23. Beautiful is an understatement! Barb was awesome to work with and she and her team did everything in their power to make the day run smoothly and ensure we were not stressed! We had tons of compliments are the venue and decor! Barb works with all vendors and makes sure everyone is on the same page. They do all set up and clean up (awesome!). I would recommend this venue to anyone!! Make sure you go do pictures right down the road at Falling Rock!"

"Black Hills Receptions and Rentals made my fairytale wedding come true. The second my husband and I began looking at venues this place was so obvious to choose. When we toured the venue we were immediately overwhelmed with how beautiful it is and so welcomed by staff. Barb, who is the event manager, was so amazing she took all our worries and stress away. She wanted it to be about us and to enjoy our wedding day. I’m sure things went wrong on our wedding day but Barb fixed them without us even realizing it ha! The price is worth it for the amount of help you get and the stress they take off your plate plus it’s just so beautiful!!!! If you are getting married or looking to use their tents seriously go with BHRR I promise your day will be magical thank you again BHRR for being so amazing!❤️"

"We had our wedding here in March of 2022 and Barb and staff were wonderful to work with! They were always quick to answer any questions we had and made sure to talk us through any possible scenarios that may arise. We knew we were taking a chance with an outdoor ceremony in March, but they assured us it was possible. They even provided blankets and heaters to the guests during the ceremony! We loved the setup of the venue and it was absolutely worth it to us to have them do all the decorating and take down and it relieved a lot of stress from our families for that week. "Real Bride Experience: This place was WONDERFUL to work with!! My now husband and I felt so taken care of and like we were in safe hands! We trusted the venue manager, Barb, and the staff with our special day and we were not disappointed. They had everything running on time and everyone where they needed to be like a well-oiled machine. I didn't have to worry about my wedding party/family not being where they needed to be because the staff had that all taken care of. Having our physically-limited guests driven around in the golf cart was such a nice feature. As a bride and groom, you don't have time to worry about if others got to where they needed to be on your wedding day and with this venue, you don't need to. You are in excellent hands. And planning was easy too! We had lots of options for decorations the venue to would rent to us or we could bring our own decorations, no problem. The staff set up everything the way we wanted it (discussed in a meeting weeks before the big day) and tore down at the end of the night and we picked up our stuff the next day. Super nice and convenient! And the venue itself is gorgeous! Whimsical, and yet, you are surrounded by the beautiful, natural Black Hills. I had many guests say it was one of the nicest weddings they've been to and I really think a big part of it was the venue. Overall, 10/10. Couldn't have been happier.
