"Foolishly, I switched auto insurance companies after seeing this woman advertising her locally owned Allstate office. Through their billing error they double charged me for my initial 6-month premium, over $2,000. It took them 3 weeks after many phone calls to them and no apologies or empathy from Amy Creasman, owner of this agency. It wasn’t worth the hassle of cancelling and going back to my previous insurer. Fast forward 6-months. I received a call from this office about renewal. I called the office and we reviewed my policy coverage, made a few adjustments, and got to the billing discussion. I indicated that I would pay the six month premium in full on a credit card. At that time I was advised that I would be charged around $200 because I was paying with a credit card versus a bank draft. I indicated that any insurance company that’s going to nickel and dime and that this was a large red flag for me. I asked that my banking information be removed and my policy be canceled. This was two days before my policy was up for renewal. I immediately called my old insurance company and re-signed with them. Several days later I find that my bank account has been drafted by the Allstate office without my permission. I have to go through the runaround with this unapologetic owner to try and get my money back. BUYER BEWARE - this office will not take care of your family or your possessions."
