Ribs Hickory Pit BBQ

"I ordered a brisket plate. I was wondering what was taking so long for my order. The staff was attentive with refilling my sweet tea while waiting. When it came out it looked and tasted like it had been reheated. There was hardly any smoke flavor to it, no smoke ring on brisket, yet the sauce was pretty good. The fried okra was cold by the time the plate came out and Mac n cheese tasted like kraft out the box with noodles over cooked. I ate it all so I can't say it was horrible and you get a substantial amount. Although I'd rather have half the amount cooked properly. I may have high standards with my BBQ, growing up and smoking my own and working in pits in TX. But for the prices charged it was subpar per my standards."

"My husband ordered ribeye sandwich with fries. He said good it was good, but he was still hungry. I had chicken tenders and fries. They were good. Food is a bit overpriced. Waitress wasn’t very happy. Service was alright."
