Reviews of Stripes Burrito Co
"Ordered a sausage breakfast burrito and was not disappointed. Wasn't too expensive with the addition of extra cheese but I think Blake's might be cheaper but it was definitely bigger and that's always better. Got my order quick and correct and tasted great. Outdoor drive-thru and parking lot was clean and seemed well kept. Would return for more."
"Just another great burrito from stripes... I usually go to the location in Rio Rancho. I was across town today so I thought I would try this location.... Same Great burrito but this location offers sit down dining. +++"
"UPDATE 11/02/2023: I filed a complaint via email with the company. The owner called me Tuesday. Said he hadn't heard anyone complain of same symptoms/issues we had. He advised if another customer called and complaint that then he would need to notify health dept. He said he would call me back if someone also called with similar issues. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ UPDATE -- 11/01/2023 : So my girlfriend and I ate there yesterday-Sunday at lunchtime ~1pm. First thing I noticed was that the chicken seemed barely above room temperature. The bread seemed a little dry(not fresh), like it normally is fresh. Girlfriend and I got sick throwing up and diarrhea. It hit me pretty hard, i threw up some 7 times. I was throwing up chicken 12 hours later @1:30am this morning. I had beans and girlfriend had fries. The common denominator being the chicken. We both had ice tea, so unless they use some other water than faucet water for tea, i am leaning toward the lettuce salad or the chicken as the source of food poisoning- salmonella. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OLD REVIEW FROM A YR AGO: I have eaten at this location now, some 8 times. It's the best location so far. The chicken sandwich is hot when they bring it to your table; yes they really do bring it to your table when dining in. THEY"RE ONLY OPEN FOR DINE IN UNTIL 4PM DAILY. I've had the beans and fries as a side to the combo sammich. Everything is fresh and piping hot. Friendly atmosphere, and quite a few military pics to see. Also get refills on your drink while dining in. Pretty spacious seating so you do have some privacy as well. I recommend their Chicken combo sandwich; it's by far THE BEST - compared to chick fila, or popeyes chicken sandwich. BEST BANG for your BUCK!"
"Visited Albuquerque and tried the famous chicken sandwich. Went through the drive thru and got the food quickly. It was hot and tasted good. I don't know about the "worlds best chicken sandwich". But it was good, pretty messy."
"I had the chicken sandwich here and it is my new favorite spicy chicken sandwich. Excellent food. I want to come back and try the burritos. Initially I was going to have a burrito but on the recommendation of the cashier I switched to the chicken sandwich and did not regret it. Next time I have an opportunity I will be back."
