"12th Street Tavern is a straightforward kinda joint that gets all the details right. The modern, hipster brewery meets sports bar design is broadly appealing and comfortable. My waitress was fabulous, super professional and on it, and recommended the fish & chips over my backup choices. Fish & chips is a once a year meal for me, and 12th Street Tavern nailed it. Crunchy, perfectly cooked fish with a boatload of fries. I was able to swap coleslaw for a green salad at no additional charge which was awesome. The Staff & other Customers were friendly, and I definitely did not go home hungry :)"

"I love this place and it's selection of beer, however it's kitchen has been hit or miss for me on my several visits. The good: the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was pretty good as was the Mac&Cheese. The not-so-good: had a Medium-Rare burger arrive as a clumb of charcoal and really not edible. It was also presented weirdly. The soup came out cold and was sent back to get microwaved. It came back with hair in it. The wait staff wasn't very attentive, and we had to flag them down. I want to love this place, and I hope someday they make it good enough to bring out of town friends and family. But at the moment, every time I go is a gamble."

"The service was horrible. Our server came by every 15-20 mins. We had an issue with our food, totally burnt bun, but decided to eat it anyways since they probably wouldn't be checking on us anytime soon. We dubbed the corner we sat in - the Bermuda Triangle. We had the dry rub wings, blue burger, and fish and chips: would not recommend. Redeeming qualities: Stellar handmade blackberry lemonade; Dog-friendly patio."

"Just stopped in for a bite to eat. They have a simple menu. And it’s really good food. You’ve got to try the macaroni and cheese with green chili. Oh it is the bomb. Service was excellent. She took good care of me. The environment is friendly and lighthearted."
