"After three attempts at even warm eggs and cheesy hash browns from two orders of the Grandpas Breakfast Menu item we finally had them bring apples. The eggs and hash browns were literally cold. Over the years, I have never received a hot breakfast from this location. In all fairness, the manager discounted one of the Grandpas Breakfast from our tab. In any event, I will never go back here."

"I would give one star, but I am giving two stars because of past good experiences before here. We usually have a good experience but when we went in last time we were quite disappointed. One person in my party ordered the new golden Carolina chicken which sounded delicious and was supposed to come with a “sweet and tangy golden BBQ sauce.” However, when she got the dish it was absolutely and only Buffalo sauce on the chicken. The sauce was orange-red in color and 100% tasted of only Buffalo sauce. Our waitress was not very attentive and it took forever to bring it to her attention. When I did she tried to gaslight us saying this is the sauce the chicken is supposed to come with. Finally she simply said “I’ll be right back” went back to the kitchen. In about 5 minutes she came back with a fresh basket of chicken with a golden colored barbecue-fragrant sauce-exactly what we’d wanted and ordered. This is what really upset me though, she lied to us and would not admit the first basket had the wrong sauce saying, “the two sauces are mixed so you must’ve just gotten a weird patch.” I pushed back and said no, the color and taste are COMPLETELY different, but she would not admit it was simply an error. It truly ruined the whole experience and made me feel like I was being ridiculous for even bringing it up at all even though they were obviously completely different sauces. After that she gave us the ticket and completely ignored us the rest of the time we were there. We waited forever and I had to say her name from across the room just to get her to bring us to-go boxes when we wanted to leave. I hope the staff can be trained to admit mistakes and not let one mistake lead to more problems in the future."

"Came in for dinner, party of 2, was seated right away. The server was very nice and friendly. I ordered the chicken and dumplings and my partner ordered the NC chicken tenders. The tenders were pretty small but tasted good. The dumplings were alright, I thought the carrots were over cooked, too mushy."

"Ordered ahead online. Got there a little earlier so had to wait. Someone brought it out. I didn’t know it was mine until the cashier helped everyone else in line while my food sat there for 10 minutes. I had already paid so not quite sure why it had to go behind the counter. Also ordered the Buffalo Mac with chicken strips. I included the photo of what we got and what the picture online. Quite the difference. Also ordered turnip greens but got green beans? We go here fairly often to dine in but the experience was pretty bad."

"So I ordered food from door dash. I understand that it can be door dash fault. But when I contacted my door dash driver he/she said they are waiting for the food. I called the restaurant and was put on a hold for 15 minutes for a manager. I was told chicken that I ordered was frozen and needed time to thawed. So I waited again for 2 hours and chicken was still uncooked. I think restaurant values have been down. Nothing is fresh. My okra that I ordered was like chewing rocks. The manager that I finally spoke with gave credit. But if I need to drive to pick up food for the best quality then why are they offering delivery services. Horrible experience."
