"This place is nothing special. Service is there, I got a refill and the food was done quickly. It's pretty cold inside. The Mama's Plate is impressive. Hashbrowns are crunchy and the pancakes are good. Green C-h-i-l-e (because it is spelled with an "e" ) is chopped, no flavor with it. The gaudy "rules" painted on the wall are pretty ridiculous."

Seated at the bar and had the best experience ever. You have never seen a faster moving crew than these gals. Not a motion wasted, or a guest left unattended. And the most beautiful food! Perfect bacon, huge pancakes, dusted French Toast. You will love it, we did."

"We found Mama’s kitchen on Google Maps while traveling from Colorado to southern California. Our breakfast there was delightful. Every member of the wait staff was friendly and competent. Our breakfasts - the really big plate of eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and pancakes, which we shared, and my oatmeal (guilt-lessening fiber with a side dish of fresh fruit) were perfectly prepared. Try it. I think you’ll really like it."
