"Cross Country Freight was used for a large Wayfair shipment. They held it for over a week without doing anything due to a miscommunication on their dock. We were told instead of inside delivery they would only be able to drop the large shipment outside due to a lack of manpower. We refused, and were told to wait a month for things to slow down and they would try to deliver. We complained to Wayfair, and they suddenly Cross Country found the manpower to deliver. Only thing is, we waited around all day only to find out at 4:30 that they misjudged the weight and couldn't deliver again. In the end, three weeks after the shipment arrived at Cross Country we hired Thomas and Sons Moving in Rapid City to pick up and complete delivery of the shipment. Cross Country screwed up again as they didn't have the shipment ready for pickup at the appointed time. Finally, Thomas and Sons got the shipment and they were FANTASTIC! Thomas and Sons was professional, experienced, and efficient. Run from Cross Country and hire Thomas and Sons. They're worth every penny!"
