"What can I say? It's a post office, the employees are all feeding at the public trough courtesy of the taxpayer, and their attitudes reflect that fact. Mail should be privatized. It may cost a bit more, but the service would definitely improve. After multiple times of not getting my mail delivered with the excuse: Alert No Access to Delivery Location BELLE FOURCHE, SD 57717 December 26, 2023, 1:05 pm I took photos of the "No Access" location. Then went to the post office and asked what was in accessible about my mail box location. They didnt have any explanation, and true to form the Post Master female was "out"

"How many mail forwarding cards have to be completed IN-HOUSE BY USPS EMPLOYEES to get your mail forwarded??? We are going on 3 weeks!!! I have a better idea, save the taxpayers some money and close the doors!! What an absolute joke!!! One star is too many!!!"

"This post office in Belle Fourche South Dakota needs better management. These people LITERALLY handled my package 3 TIMES in a week and kept sending it either out of town or state. The Manager needs to be FIRED!!! DO YOUR JOB CORRECTLY OR WORK SOMEWHERE ELSE."

"This manager is the worst I have ever seen. I feel awful for the employees that have to work under her. She over charges when other post offices say postage is adequate and won't even allow packages to be delivered to my registered mailbox until my house is built even though we are there EVERY DAY!"

"Horrible customer service. Very rude delivery staff. I'll say that the younger gal and the one lady (Lacey) I believe is her name are nice and do a great job but the blonde woman in the office cuts us off mid sentence constantly, has hung up on the phone, walks away when we are asking a question politely and just refuses to deal with any concerns or issues we have. We moved to a different apartment and since then our delivery driver refuses to bring any packages up the stairs, today she blamed it on the ice, which there wasn't any, and said that no one was home but we were both sitting in the living room right near the door and would have heard any knocks. She also did not leave a pink missed delivery slip so when we went to ask about it the office worker said " I don't know what you want me to do about it." And walked away. Strangely enough at our last apartment, we never had an issue at all and those stairs were taller. I've never had any issue with a post office any place I've ever lived and am just shocked at their rudeness. We've even gotten permission from the business downstairs for them to drop off packages there, we signed the paperwork at the post office to confirm it with them but instead they just return it to the post office and don't let us pick it up the same day. UPS and FedEx always deliver to our door but this mail carrier simply doesn't want to do her job."
