"I was in a party of three at 11 am on a Saturday morning. The restaurant was very busy with one table of 15+ people. We were told that it would be a 30-40-minute wait, but we were seated after about 10 minutes. The server did not take our order for about 40, but the assistant got our drinks and kept the chips and salsa coming so we were very content. I had the Huevos Rancheros which are the featured special on Saturday. New Mexican Huevos Rancheros is one of my favorite dishes and this one was fantastic! Another person in my party had the large (32oz) menudo and he was pleased with the dish. It is a massive portion. I highly recommend this restaurant and I plan to visit again soon."

"I absolutely recommend eating here. The diner-style interior is clean and cute, and the service is always fantastic and friendly. This place has absolutely scrumptious New Mexican food. The guacamole tastes like how I make it at home. Nice and limey, but just needs a dash of salt. The salsa is exactly how I love my chips and salsa. I’ve been searching ABQ for this type of salsa and I finally found it! On the thinner side, flavorful, and not chunky or too spicy (heat-wise). I’ve gotten the tamale plate twice now and it’s GOOD. I get green chile on the side and always end up smothering it. Both the red and green chiles are delicious. Went here on Valentine’s Day with a very large group, and they gladly accommodated us, even only having one server for the whole place. All of the staff was excellent, and although there was an understandable wait, all our food came out at once. Every single person in the group loved their food."

"We ordered the combo plates. I wanted to try something new! I had never had papa (mashed potatoes) tacos or Chile rellenos (cheese stuffed Hatch Green Chile) before. We also had sweet rice. Everything was very good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was within walking distance of our hotel, which was nice. I would definitely return to try more new stuff!"

"Ate here for a late lunch, around 2. Was not busy at all. Waited on right away, and thel food came out quickly. Waitress was very pleasant. They give you free chips & salsa to start. My husband had the small bowl of Posole, and it was huge! I got a combination plate with rice,beans,taco, enchilada, and a chili relleno. All were good."
