"I use to enjoy going here. I went thru drive thru, ordered a green chili twister burrito and churros. The staff repeated my order. Some where between me going to the window and him placing the order to the kitchen, he heard me say handheld burrito. I have never had a hand held burrito. I was upset. No where did he even say, let me correct that. It will be awhile before I go back."
"Good food. Just a bummer their customer service, and wait times are terrible. You wait forever for your food. I go to Stripes all of the time. Stripes has you out with delicious food fast! I gone to stripes with ten or more cars in the line and you’re out within minutes. Twisters has nobody in the line and you will wait 20 minutes! Twisters needs to step up their game to compete with Stripes. Only reason I wrote this review is because I do like the food and was considering eating here, but with always the wait times is why I don’t go back."
"Great food and great service. Of course I liked my husbands plate beer than mine. But that’s not due to the establishment error. That’s just usual for my taste buds, lol. Atmosphere gets a 4 only because the smell of the old building is not very pleasant when you walk in but I’ll look past that since the Rio Rancho location on high resort is my favorite as far as food taste and service."
"The customer service at this location is absolutely stellar. I have a gluten allergy, and this has been a safe place for me to eat. They use corn starch as thickener instead of flour. I get a "twister," which is a burrito on a bed of fries, and allows me to enjoy the gluten-free version of a burrito! It's a huge serving, and I had enough to eat breakfast the next day as well. The red chile here is AMAZING. It is flavorful and has the perfect amount of heat."
"My brother who is from the area recommended that we go here. He ordered takeout through the drive-through, two orders of Nachos for the kids and a Twister burrito. I was amazed at the quantity of food. At first I thought we were not ordering enough food but when I saw the size of the burrito I was impressed. I love New Mexican food with green chilies and the twister burrito did not disappoint. I also liked the fries on top with the enchilada sauce. I wish I would have thought to take a picture. When we are back in the area I will go back again. It was a little spicy for the kids but I am already craving it again. Update- made another trip down and got some more Twisters. See attached photo."
