"As a resident of Dakota Loft Apartments for the past eighteen months, I can confidently say that my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing due to the plethora of maintenance issues plaguing this complex. From day one, it became apparent that the management here lacks the competency and dedication to uphold even the most basic standards of upkeep. The laundry list of problems I've encountered is extensive and persistent. Firstly, the elevator is a nightmare. Outages are frequent causing disruptions and inconveniences. It's appalling how frequently I've had to call and complain. Do not expect them to take action on their own. I have also encountered profound disappointment with frequent garage door outages plaguing this property. A garage door is meant to provide security and ease of access to the property, yet these outages undermine both aspects. Not only do they leave my belongings vulnerable to potential theft or damage, but they also force me to seek alternative, often less secure means of entry. This compromises the safety of my home and family, which is simply unacceptable. The real kicker is you pay extra for this amenity. When you have your property stolen, they will also tell you that is the price of living downtown. Furthermore, the general upkeep of the communal areas leaves much to be desired. The stairwells and garage are often littered with debris and dog feces, giving off a neglectful and unkempt vibe. The building had a piece of metal hanging off the building for six months marring the aesthetic appeal of the complex. To add insult to injury, the response time for maintenance requests is abysmal. It seems as though the management has adopted a laissez-faire attitude toward addressing residents' concerns, as evidenced by the prolonged delays in resolving issues. It's beyond frustrating to have to wait weeks on end for even the most urgent repairs to be completed. Overall, my experience at Dakota Loft Apartments has been marred by consistent maintenance issues and a lack of accountability on the part of the management, hi Ben hi Courtney. I would strongly advise prospective tenants to steer clear of this establishment unless they're willing to tolerate subpar living conditions and perpetual frustration. Save yourself the headache and seek housing elsewhere."
