"I usually have decent customer service here, but today was an exception. The thin young man wearing glasses who assisted me is not someone who should be involved in customer service apart from the need for "hello" & "thank you." During our interaction, he had to explain the new self-return process for Amazon items. When I got flustered that one of my items required packaging (which I had), he ignored my words and just repeated himself in the exact same words, following it with how we could take care of things at the counter. (This all was done in a register and tone as if speaking to a slow child.) As I went to move to the counter, he began repeating himself again, so I did calmly cut him off to tell him that I understood, to which he thrust his arms towards the self-return area in annoyance to say he was giving me the directions for self-return. Since I thought we were going to the counter, as he had said, I was confused. I listened silently to him give his instruction, throughout which he was clearly annoyed, and finished the self-checkout items. When we went to the counter to take care of the items that needed tape for packaging, he went around the counter to the closest coworker and made an exasperated face and comment about the situation. He knew I could see since the counter is only waist high. When leaving, I was the one to say "thank you", not him. I can understand being frustrated at repeating the same thing over and over throughout the day, (I taught for 17 yrs), but he should not be in that position if he cannot handle having to be sympathetic to customer situations and repeating himself."

"I have never had a bad experience and will keep using the UPS Store for all of my shipping needs. Excellent customer service and consistently great work. They are very helpful, understand my business and take great care with my shipments. They always make me feel welcome and like I am not a burden to them when I know I am asking for a quick turnaround and a tremendous amount of packing."

"WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I drove across town to drop off a return for Amazon and was told by Nicholas that I had to have the original packaging to ship it back. He wanted me to pay for the return. I said I'd go home and call Amazon because I didn't have the original shipping label. Amazon told me to put it in any box and mail it back. The next day I went back and the same Nicholas told me it was not taped up correctly on the top and wanted to charge me $1.50 for a single piece of tape. I said I came all the way across town (again) and I did not have my purse. He said "too bad, next time read the directions ". I said this is terrible customer service! He proceeded to tell me i needed to pay tor a piece of tape. I asked for the phone number of his corporate office so I can make a complaint. He refused to give it so I looked it up. I am waiting for John Ansloan to return my call. I don’t expect much since John is Nicholas’s father. Maybe that is the problem. No consequence for bad behavior when your Daddy owns the store. No one should be treated like this and if you're in customer service I would expect assistance when needed and a nice attitude."
