"Great place to live in the best part of Rapid City. Easy walking distance to Walmart and several eateries. Fair rent, and great facilities."
"The apartment itself was okay. But I took 2 stars off for 2 reasons: I worked night shift at the time. I asked to move in before 12 pm. They said no, and when I asked for an exception, they said no. So my sleep schedule was thrown off for a bit. If you don't work 9-5 like they do, good luck. I saw the next reason in another review as well. They nickel and dime you when you leave. I cleaned that apartment top to bottom, and put in a work order to get the sliding mirror for the medicine cabinet fixed (this was done, but not correctly, so I got charged for it). It's also a requirement for the tenant to get the carpet professionally cleaned. I didn't, because I correctly assumed they would take it out of my deposit. They also take your last month's utility bill from your deposit. Long story short, I got to keep $56 out of $400. When I went on a tour of the pool area, I said that the Google reviews said someone died in the hot tub. The part the lady picked up on was that I read the reviews at all. "Oh...you read those?" In a disappointed tone. Nice apartment, just be prepared for little things."
"I have lived at this apartment for quite some time and in the last few months, I have been very displeased, to say the least. The current office manager and another office employee have been careless in executing their duties with no regard for a paying tenant. I have been waiting for a response regarding my rent for two days. I called and spoke with both women in the office about a payment that was made. I was assured by both at different times on the same day, that they would verify and contact me within a few minutes. Until today, I am yet to receive a response. I have called, visited the office (they closed early), and even texted with no response. There is a clear lack of professionalism and unwillingness to do their jobs. I do not know what their agenda is but certainly should not have this treatment meted out to me. I am not living here for free. I have been here a while, never missed a payment, and have only been compliant. This is not an isolated incident. Just a few months ago (January), the office manager gave me a deadline to renew the lease then a few days shy of that deadline, sent me a letter indicating that my apartment was already being marketed after she had given me a different deadline. I have also brought a concern forward regarding the washing machine and quarters taken while the machine failed to work, yet I received no response from late last year into this year. There has been perpetual cases of disregard from then. The apartment takes no sincere thought for me as a tenant yet they never fail to collect and ensure that every dollar is received in a timely manner. Shayla, the previous office manager, did okay. I have also referred at least 3 people here before these encounters but will not do so going forward. There is something amiss with the selection, assessment, and training, at least for the current staff in the office. I do not recommend that any potential tenant consider this apartment, otherwise, you will be sorely disappointed. I am far from pleased with the service or lack thereof and would like to have this addressed."
"The apartment itself was fine. The office lost my rent check multiple times living there for over 3 years. The feral cat population is a major issue. At one point, I counted 12 cats outside a first floor apartment. They nickle and dime you to death upon moving out. Got charged for carpet cleaning because I didn't use their contractor. Got charged for a cleaning services. First 30 minutes were supposed to be free, so they convientantly billed 35 minutes. Provided receipts for the carpet cleaning and maid services I paid for out of pocket. Never did get a response from the office. Rent continued to increase each year, however seen no improvements to tenants. In fact, they took away the community/party room and remodeled it into bigger office space for staff."
