Burdette House

"How does one rate what felt like staying with relatives? We were welcomed, though contactless, with warmth and personal touches from the start. Andy & Denise have gone the extra mile to provide a truly unique experience in the heart of Hot Springs. On the grounds of, and in walking distance to so much history, The Burdette House should be a top contender for anyone looking to stay in the area. Our hosts remained silently present the entire length of our stay, which was three nights. They cite guest privacy as a top priority, 2nd only to safety. We were even invited to feeding time for Franklin and Sheldon, the resident turtles, though we were unable to make it. We did get to meet the turtles at other times. With a fully equipped kitchen, my wife was able to provide home cooked meals (a huge priority for our family), and she didn't feel like she was lacking anything of necessity throughout the process. I was even able to use the kitchen space for a photo shoot for a finals project that was due, and I found the space fully accommodating of a full professional photo studio. Our kids were kept occupied with board games, especially Clue. And when that wasn't enough to keep the peace, there was plenty of room for them to separate from each other for a time if needed. My families dog was even warmly welcomed with a clean couch cover on one of the couches. Your pet will also have an entire cabinet dedicated to making sure they have as good a stay as you do. I mean it, folks, they thought of everything. You may be able to nitpick your way into finding faults, but that may say more about you and your ability to receive gracious hospitality than it does about Andy and Denise."

"A great Airbnb rental right near everything in Hot Springs and immediately next to the Moccasin Springs facility. There are two bedrooms in the rental suite, but because of the age and history of the building the only bathroom is accessed through the two bedrooms so it's best for a family or two couples that are comfortable with someone walking through the bedrooms to access the bathroom. The did the best they could with the 19th Century architecture and set up a nice spacious suite. Excellent hosts, a nice set up with the keys and info."

"We stayed at the Burdette House last May. We thoroughly enjoyed the property, liked the location, and we enjoyed the hospitality of the excellent owners. We liked the property so much that a few months later we bought the Burdette house. We saw a bad review on here from a person named Angel. The previous owners had already told me about an incident they had with guests (Angel) that was so bad it involved calling the police. The Burdette house for years has prided itself on being an excellent property and providing great hospitality. We are still keeping up the great property and providing our guests with the hospitality they have enjoyed over the years."
