I had applied and then moved in very shortly after. I was so thankful and the whole process was so easy for us."

"I've been blessed with this company and the apartment. They really helped me get into my apartment when I was in a critical state in my life. The communication and effort to help my daughter and me was above and beyond. The kindness and understanding was so wonderful. Maintenance will take the extra time when they are on-site for something unrelated to what they're here for. Even after moving in, the care of their tenants is excellent. Communication is still awesome. I'm grateful to have good neighbors, and a nice and safe location. for my daughter and myself!"

"This is the most toxic, discriminatory place I have EVER worked. Open and blatant racist remarks by Bree and Catrina Olheiser. HR is Non Existent, so there is NOBODY to go to. I was the the head of maintenance in Dickinson and I had to quit because of inappropriate behavior. I have filed a claim with the eeoc and the labor board. I am building a case against these creeps, feel free to help."

"Please beware of this company, they scam people in need out if their money!! They have multiple locations across the black hills of South Dakota but from what I have heard from speaking other tenants the experience is universal. When I applied for the apartment in Hot Springs I spoke to a woman with the company who said that she was their spokesperson. Her name was Crystal Ryan and and she flat out lied to me about what my security deposit would be and when I received mail notifying me about owning the company $400 I was shocked and treated with horrible service. On top of it all they would not let me speak to Crystal Ryan again. This company through my almost 2 years of being of being in the apartment, has made me pay over $1500 extra dollars in hidden fees towards their means. According to every tenant I talk to in my apartment building they experienced the same exact treatment. Anytime I was to call the company about anything, I would get lots of attitude and disrespect, and was almost always told I owed a little bit more money to them. I am now moving out and in notifying the company of my moving I was told that I own them over $900 in fees for the apartment and the month that I will not even be there for. Please go find yourself another place to get housing and DO NOT GO TO THIS COMPANY!!"

"My mom recently moved out (9/21) of Metro Plains in Custer, SD and I STRONGLY recommend find any place OTHER than the cottages in Custer to live. The management is RUDE and the are dishonest when it comes to your move-out, taking absorbent fees for cleaning that was done as we moved out. Corrine Sullivan is a hag (and that's being kind) to talk to and very condescending when speaking to me on the phone. Basically she called me liar about the condition of the cottage when my mom moved out. We had the family cleaning the place and I know it was spotless when we moved left, including sweeping out the garage. We didn't clean the oven because the oven needs to be replaced, I have called the fire marshal and have them test it for safety since management doesn't find it important enough to not burn the place down and/or burn someone. It needs replacing BADLY and they have been told this on several occasions. I could go on but hopefully you get the jest of this complaint and bad review!"
