"After taking my 2016 INFINITY Q50, which had been in an accident, to Garcia INFINITY, the Service Manager referred us to Sandia Collision. This turned out to be bad advice! For on Friday April 23, we received the car back from Sandia Collision and upon inspection, we noticed blistering across the front bumper, even on the side supposedly repaired??? Unsatisfied with the work, on Monday April 26, my wife took the car back and then about an hour later, returned home and stated that their estimator said that the blistering was to be expected, because of the rock chips and therefore not covered by insurance. Surprised by this, I asked my wife to return and speak to the owner, which she did that very same day. Upon her return, she said that the owner gave her a quote to repair the blistering, plus additional costs for parts unrelated to the accident. After looking over the quote, I quickly noticed we were being charged for the re-work, there was no provision for a rental car, and the parts the owner wanted to replace, did not need to be replaced! It was at this point, that I realized I needed to get involved, so on Monday, May 10, we went back to Sandia Collision. Unfortunately, after a brief discussion with the owner, who was rude, arrogant, confrontational, and cocky, it was clear, they were not going to fix their mistake and that we would have to settle this matter in court. After this encounter, we drove straight to Garcia INFINITY, to let the Service Manager know we were disappointed in him for referring us to Sandia Collision. On June 7, we filed a lawsuit against Sandia Collision for failure to inform us in advance, of the blistering that would occur if they proceeded with repairs, but did not fix the rock chips. We won the case in court and Sandia Collision was forced to pay us a lump sum of money for failure to meet their contractual obligations. DO NOT take your car to Sandia Collision, you WILL regret it!"
"Although the body shop did an excellent job felt they didn't match the color had platinum white but the color they had looks white. Regardless they said to give it time so I'm gonna give it some time and I'll re edit my rating at that time"
"***DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES HERE*** I had a car accident a few weeks back. I chose this place through the insurance company, rather than someone I know. Instead of them waiting to get the approval from the insurance company to start the body work on my car, they start sanding it down to primer it! Insurance ends up totaling my car out instead... So, now the owner refuses to fix what THEY started on my car!!!So now, I'm driving with an ugly sanded down spot on my car because they jumped the gun, Instead of waiting! I've never been to such an unprofessional place!"
"I was supposed to have my bumper replaced, instead they stapled the damaged one back together. I was told it was replaced with a new one, within a week my bumper started falling back off. This problem occurred in March, still ongoing now in October. I personally have to reach out to get any updates, instead of them letting me know on updates. They also stole my fender liner"
"Laughable service. VERY unprofessional. These people have no clue what they are doing and are extremely disrespectful. NEVER take your vehicle here. For some reason, Sandia was recommended by my insurance company. There was significant body damage as well as rear end damage, which took weeks longer to finish than I was told, resulting in additional out of pocket expenses for a rental car extension. I had to take the car back within a month or two after the repairs were "finished" because pieces of the weather stripping were peeling off, the wheel well molding separated from the body, and part of the front fascia had popped out from the grill. After that visit, I noticed while cleaning my car that they had melted a hole in my carpet underneath the floor mat and just covered it up. Now I am having alignment issues with creaking at the rear end of the car and abnormal tire wear. Sandia told me everything is within spec but the dealership and another alignment shop have matching checks showing the rear tow and camber are both off. Sandia told me I was "making something out of nothing" and saying everything is fine. I finally got a thorough inspection and there is indeed a rear subframe bolt cross-threaded at an angle with a large crack in the subframe. On top of that, they replaced cotter pins with rusty bailing wire on part of the rear suspension. Apparently, that is what $11K in repairs gets you with these clowns."
