Valvoline Instant Oil Change 9501 Golf Course Road Northwest, Albuquerque, NM 87114

"Went get an oil change today which showed open until 4 and it wasn't even 3:30 yet and the lights were off, doors closed and the employees were just sitting in the dark. I know it is superbowl today and everyone wants to be home but really...... Day2.. They did not listen when I was letting them know what services I needed, they failed to check my lights, did not check my tire pressure and marked not checked even before they were done, I had to ask for them to air my tires, the lack of customer service was crazy. I had to tell the 3 times what I needed and after looking to see if a coolant flush could be done the manager was too busy to talk to us. He was looking for his phone and about 5 mins later another person finally came and asked if we heard the manager. This is unacceptable."

"This used to be the best place for an oil change and fluid top-offs. However, in the most recent months, the incompetent and unsupervised children working here at this location are just lazy and incompetent with everything that they attempt to do. I was charged twice for a failed emissions and had to buy a new gas cap they said, and upon going all the way to the main emissions testing, he who trains them completed my emissions and low and behold, passed with original gas cap. He was extremely upset and stated that he will have to retrain and tell someone off. And when they say that they replenish fluids...? They don't! They said we had to take it to a mechanic, they won't do it! Appalling! I suggest that any and all future customers take their business to Jiffy or any other place. -Jaizen"

"I went here for an emissions test and was so glad I did. It was so fast. Start to finish was less than 6 minutes and all of the young people working there were very friendly. I would definitely go back."

"Just took my Mazda CX-5 car to Mazda for some car maintenance and they noted in their inspection that during my last oil change at Valvoline that a wrong fitting drain plug was used, along with a rubber seal that was added to prevent leaks. However, apparently it's been leaking this whole time. I was shown a video recording of the mess. This was the first time I had ever used Valvoline and due to this I won't be returning."

"I took my 4Runner to get the oil changed twice. The first time I had a leak after it was complete. I took it back to get looked at and I was told it was left over oil underneath. It continued to leak but I didn’t have time to go back so I did the oil change myself. It was clearly not oil left behind and the oil plug/all bolts were extremely over tight. After doing the oil change myself, I had no issues or leaks. I took it back for a second time due to time and convenience. After the oil change was complete, it started to leak again. I knew what the problem was from the previous visit so I returned and told them. I was told again it was left over oil underneath even though I thoroughly cleaned it. I told them that was not the issue but I was basically told I was dumb and that was the issue. I took it back a second time and told them again. And believe it or not I was told again it was oil from underneath even after they cleaned it from the previous visits. At this point I realized they just did not want to do the right thing and redo my oil change. They clearly over tighten everything and just want to get vehicles in and out. It continued to leak and I had to do it myself again with no issues.. for less. Waste of money. (I never leave negative reviews but this isn’t acceptable)"
