"Thank you to the Parts Dept. I was passing through ran into trouble and they were very helpful. The pulled the part, I rolled into town, picked it up, and was back on the road. Thank you!"
"Phone appt. system? zero, but Customer service a solid 10!. I was having some squealing noise coming from my 2019 Ram when I applied the brakes, but I learned it wasn't a brake issue. I tried calling Melloy Dodge for a week, (14 phone calls) and never got thru, just an automated "your call is important, you can leave your # if you want a call back", which I did and never got a call. Went online to Live Chat, and that person also took my # and email, and still nobody contacted me... So I just showed up on a Saturday and got in line w/ all the people that had appts. and explained my issue. Sami greeted me in line, and was super cool and tried to get me help, and Gerardo (mechanic) came outside and actually got under my truck to get an idea of the problem. He told me to call Leo (service writer) to get an official appt., and he assured me I'd get a call back if I left a msg, which I did. Leo told me he could get me in that week to get diagnosed, and they'd tell me if the repair was covered by my Powertrain warranty. (He also said it would be 2 months to get the repair work done, because they had 200+ appts ahead of me.... ) But it is what it is, so I dropped off my truck for the day. I didn't get a phone call to tell me what the problem was or if it would be covered by warranty. So I got worried, but I showed up at the end of the day to ask... Leo told me that not only was the repair job covered by my warranty (CV boot/axle/differential problem), but since they had the part in stock, the repair had already been done and I didn't need to come back! I was shocked that they just went ahead and fixed it, because they easily could have made me come back 2 months later. And it didn't cost me a dime. Props to Leo, Gerardo and Sami at Melloy Dodge, they totally took care of me, and have great customer service skills. Highly recommend."
"Prices are just outrageous. They are not willing to come down on prices enough. I'm not willing to pay $1000 dollars a month for a vehicle! The sales guy was okay. *second part..No disrespect, but because interest rates are high, your prices should then come down. Especially on used vehicles that you paid less then $20,000 for. I know you want to make a profit...but you won't make anything if there isn't a give on someone's end. We all know interest rates aren't going to change anytime soon! Thanks for trying to give a reason...have a great day! No need to respond again!"
"I thought they would do a better job when I came into their shop, I normally go to the dealer because I expect to be treated like I just bought a brand new car. But that was not the case this time, I brought my 2016 Dodge in after check it out make sure it was roadworthy and check the transmission fluid, unfortunately no one could tell me if the fluid was high or low or if it was even any in the transmission. No one noticed that the front turn signals were not working or they just didn't care. And they did four and a half hours worth of work on my vehicle in less than an hour I was impressed with that, funny thing is they charged me for the four and a half hours of Labor. And you know that little sticker they put on your windshield to let you know when your next Oil Change is they didn't care to put that in either."
"I thoroughly dislike doing business with Melloy's service department. They consistently recommend service that is not needed or recommended by the manufacturer. The main reason I go there occasionally is they had a mechanic that was super knowledgeable on Fiats, but he is gone. This time they charged me a diagnostic fee that was more than the parts and labor, but when I went to pick up the car it was not even fixed. It appears the ethics of the owners have not changed since Melloy Nissan got in trouble with the attorney general in the 90's. Not only that, the shuttle driver is always overbooked and I usually end up getting myself an Uber when most other dealerships provide Ubers. I'll be glad when my current issue is resolved and I don't have to go back."
