"Vicky was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with booking our stay at the red cabin. It was kind of tricky to find the LEFT RURN AT THE SMALL REDDISH “PINOS ALTOS” sign, but once we made it in the property, we found the red cabin right away. Upon entry into the cabin, it is very quaintly decorated, and it makes you feel right at home in the southwest. It has everything you really need with the futon sofa/bed, and a double bed in the private bedroom, with door for privacy. The other cabins are not too far from each other, but you still feel kind of privacy, especially with the red cabin having two entry and exit doors, perfect for our dog!"

"My wife and I stayed at the Pinos Altos Cabins and we were very pleased with the experience. We made our reservations with a simple phone call right to the owner/operator. Small and comfortable with all the required amenities including satellite TV and WI-FI. There are beautiful views looking to the east and south. You can see all the way to Mexico. We had our own car and there was lots to do in the area. Great art treasures and some very good restaurants in Silver City, historic sites to explore, hiking in the Gila National Forest. We even took a short drive down to Las Palomas and had lunch in Mexico. Bring your passport if you plan to do this. No hassle either way. The owner Bob can help you find off the beaten path adventures which most people would not realize existed. We found authentic Native American petroglyphs. Dog friendly and very affordable, we can recommend Pinos Altos Cabins. Definitely not your run of the mill hotel room."
