"I am grateful for PJ and the crew of Tandy's. I absolutely love the communication that was just a phone call away. They kept me updated and fixed my vehicle in a timely manner. They didn't hesitate to inform me with what needed to be fixed. Now that I have my vehicle back. I am driving with confidence and security. I definitely will and now letting anyone who needs work on their vehicle suggesting them to you all :) Thank You again. Much appreciated"
"first, they are overpriced! they told me a flex-exhaust pipe is about $140, excluding labor... then, I asked him to show it for me... it turns out the same flex-pipe is sold on ebay for $45 second, they told me there is no guarantee after they completed the job (aha) ... two days later I realized why they tricked me ... because the exhaust pipe in my car start ringing like a bell! just two days after they replaced the flex-pipe. generally,.... I would never go back to this place AL ALL.. RUN AWAY... simple job like replacing flex-exhaust pipe shouldn't be agonizing at all"
"PJ did a very good job on fixing my ride. No complaints and no issues while business was being conducted. He was very helpful and communicative about what was going on with my Durango. I will definitely be going here for future work. Thank you again for your speedy service."
"First of all I actually was positive that this shop could handle my transmission work. The shop owner was not clear on the phone that he wanted a cash transaction and that was a major deal breaker for me. Shop owner could have avoided a lot of wasted time and effort if he could convey the limitations of his shop on the initial discussion/first phone call and to clearly explain to prospective customer that it’s going to be a cash deal! Especially if it’s going to cost over $3000 in cash. Wow I am definitely disappointed in the shops inability to explain things clearly when it comes cash only transactions and that if he could not fix a transmission let the customer know on the initial discussion. I explained the transmission was burnt out so I didn’t think he was going to do a diagnostics check-transmission burnt jut is pretty obvious to a driver anyway though it was not needed for a quote-but whatever. At any rate I do not recommend for major shop work just mufflers and such-I should have known but oh well lesson learned on my part. Hopefully the owner will also slow down his explanations because while I was waiting to pay (I do not know if he realizes he talks fast), in the middle of my transaction to pay for the work, he got up and left the computer terminal to help another older customers whom the clerk was helping-he left without notification. I heard and watch him explain things so fast I hope that couple are getting a better transaction than I did at this shop. Maybe slow down and complete a transaction with one customer before abruptly leaving to do something else or notify the customer the clerk will finish the transaction. I had to return a second time to complete a payment because the clerk was not aware the owner did not finish the work order in the computer… which I never received a work order document on because he could not find it. Just seemed the shop was disorganized and I’ll just say this: we all have our own priorities and other commitments daily so don’t waste the customer’s time if you as the owner are unable to take on a job or need to do cash only - explain that upfront on the initial discussion/ first phone call-this way customers will have a better informed decision. #customerservice #gallup #NM"
"I was a little bit disappointed this time around. This is the fourth vehicle I took to them and they were always good about asking and giving options. This time the person just assumed how to work on my vehicle. He never came back in to talk to us about what we wanted. Maybe it's time to take my vehicle elsewhere. To think this is the best place, I came all the way back from Chandler, AZ., to give them business."
