"I am a 70+ year old widow. I have had Epilepsy over 68 years. I've seen Dr. Persson once and nurses twice. Not adequate in my case. I'm having problems requiring an M.D."
"I saw Dr. Perrson. He ran tests but when I went to read his dictation notes he mentioned FND which he didn't inform of his thoughts. Plus put an incorrect diagnosis in notes. I am in extreme pain in cervical et having other nerve symptoms. It's not like I was seeking pain medication. I was just wanting answers to my symptoms. I told them I wanted to see a doctor which had done my cervical injection before. I get a call a week later scheduled with a doc I didn't know. I spent 6-7 hrs going back et forth with them. Deb the scheduler absolutely bad bedside manners et rude. I was told if I wanted to schedule appt with different doctor to call the office. They caused a delay in treatment because my doc for injections wasn't in Avera. I just like to know when does a patient's rights get taken away of who they want to see. If it's not in Avera system they won't help with scheduling the appt. I don't think they were aware of I have medical background et am very aware of my rights as a patient, they were causing a delay in treatment, et I am a patient advocate with stuff like this. Needless to say, I canceled my appt with Dr. Perrson in December. I don't want someone caring for me that doesn't have empathy in them or their team. It's been along time since I have been treated that awful by a doctor or his team. If I need to go back to a neurologist it will be at CNOS in Dakota Dunes."
"They are Well aware of my Friday only availability, yet they made an appointment for Thursday the 19th and sent us the info in the portal 2 days before the appointment time. 2 days lol, only reason we saw it is cause I was waiting for an answer from another doc and took a look. No text, no email, no phone call, no convo with me to set the appointment. They did it all on they're own. While I went there anyway to state my case of why I was late ( bad accident on 229 on 5/19 , life threatening accident I'm sure. The fireman got jaws of life out of 2 of the 5 trucks there and as many ambulance I have no doubt we're gona be taking patients to that er, SADLY. I MEAN I HOPE THEY MAKE IT, my main worry is what medical team will be caring for them) anyway they didn't care about the accident , hell they didn't even show a wince of care after hearing of the accident. But they told me theyd have to reschedule me all the way out to 6/2 because a life threatening accident prevented us from getting to my 3:15 appointment . Avera Neurology manager Sherry or Shelly whatever her name was, is an EXTREMELY RUDE, WISE MOUTHED, ARROGANT WOMAN THAT SHOULD NOT BE IN CHARGE OF ANY FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS, LET ALONE A MEDICAL TEAM."
"Dr Linn really took his time explaining everything about my case to me. He could not have been more thorough and gave me opportunity to ask any questions. It was my first time seeing him and I was really pleased. I am a retired nurse and I really appreciated having a Dr. that was so kind and professional!"
