"People were friendly but the rooms themselves were not good. We did not have Internet most of the night. The carpet seemed like it needed to be changed. There was an empty pizza box outside and the parking we were told to park at was taken. The place kinda felt like it was falling apart. The location is nice however I feel like the owners are penny pinching. They should sell it to someone who really sees the potential to remodel it and make it into something great. It could be a cute place to stay. It just needs some work. A new facelift. If I had it I would make it really beautiful. It's in an ideal location. And the motel itself is cute looking. It's a shame it has been left to fall apart to the condition it's in. Listen I know you want to save money but please give it to someone who will take care of it. There is a days inn in Custer if you want to go cheap."

"Excellent value for our two nights in Keystone. Excellent staff and reception ensuring all was well. Good breakfast and very helpful with additional towels when we asked. The rooms were basic but clean. Our AC did not heat but a fan heater did the job."

"Started here at the end of June. Room 127. Bed bugs. I showed them to the owner. Asked for money back. Never got it. He v wanted to move us to a new room in the same building. Based on other areas in room, cleaning isn't the best. I have pics of the infected areas on my bed, plus droppings, and fully grown bed bugs."

"Very reasonable rate for the area. Our room was decent for the price we paid. The towels looked a bit worn but they were clean. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We felt secure. The manager and his wife were great…very friendly and welcoming. Thank you!!"

"Good spot, walking distance to the main city. I think this is the only advantage in this place. However, upon entering the room the shower bathroon stink so bad. Like someone just pooped there before us coming in. Good thing I brought with us something to remove the odor. I cannot say they clean it all the time, every after guests leaving. Looks like they just put in new towels, shampoo etc. The smell of the room upon entry will tell you it is not cleaned daily. Cleanliness is number 1 for us esp after a long drive. 2 rooms with privacy is another positive feature that's why I am only giving it 2 stars."
