Welcome to The Ordinary Inn, a hidden gem in the heart of downtown Custer, South Dakota. Located at 703 Mount Rushmore Road, our lodging institution offers a unique and comfortable stay for guests looking to explore the charming small town and its surrounding attractions.

Our gated courtyard is filled with rose quartz and features flexible cushioned seating, a gas fire pit, and a Weber gas grill for guests to enjoy. With only 4 private bungalows, each designed for two guests, our inn provides a cozy and intimate setting for your stay.

Inside the bungalows, guests can relax in a spa-like steam shower, rest on an award-winning Purple Mattress with premium bed linens, and enjoy amenities such as a crisp television and a kitchenette. The larger bungalow also offers a spacious walk-in/roll-in shower, kitchen, living room, dining area, and private bedroom.

Custer is a walkable town in the southern Black Hills, with the Mickelson Trail trailhead just a block away for outdoor enthusiasts. Nearby attractions such as Custer State Park, Wind Cave, Crazy Horse Memorial, and Mount Rushmore are all within a 15-minute drive. Our inn is conveniently located near a well-stocked grocery store, Tesla charging stations, and a variety of restaurants and pubs offering dine-in, patio seating, and takeout options.
