"We were moving from Clackamas, Oregon to Wisconsin and had a 3 day trip from hell. Thr first place we were going to stay in Newell, South Dakota was engulfed with flies and the bedding had stains all over it. We got the hell out of there and I called Sunset. She had a room available for the night so we went there. The owner was soooo nice and felt bad for what we had been through. The room was very very clean and the bed was comfortable. I highly highly recommend Sunset motel and rv park!!"

"I am here to echo so many of the sentiments already left by other reviewers. I believe this is truly one of the gems left in the world within the hospitality industry. The service was great beyond measure. The room was extremely clean and I felt like I was at home immediately upon check in. There were zero concerns of safety or any of my needs going unmet. On a much more personal note, this place was truly a God send after my day on the road. It was exactly where I was supposed to be on this day. To the owner, thank you beyond measure. I appreciate the hug and thank you for listening to my story. You're an angel that was part of my story today and I'll never forget you."

"10/10 wonderful mom and pop motel. Felt safe and welcomed. Staff was very nice. Room had a western theme and very clean. Towels were amazing. Bed was very comfortable. Slept great. Also cheapest room in town!"

"This is really nice mom & pop motel. Feels very safe. Very clean. And each room has its own unique theme from outdoors, hunting, to motorcycles. Great place to stay the night. I’d come back again. Just remember to call the number to book your room."
