"After Doctoring with Mrs. Cathy Sowers for a significant amount of time with symptoms of severe fatigue, body aches and pain, weakness, foggy headed ness, and difficulty waking up along with a slew of other, more minor symptoms she told me she would no longer run more tests and could no longer be of any help to me. To add insult to my suffering she told me to see a psychiatrist. Following Drs. advice I sought the help of a well know psychiatrist to the area. After seeing me for a period of about 6 months he gave up and said, ‘ you need to see an M.D.’ He was CERTAIN I had a medical problem, not a psychiatric problem. I then saw 2 other Drs., The first of which suggested Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and the second one said ‘definitely Fibromyalgia’. I wanted to be sure, so made an appt. and was seen at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN where an Endocrinologist there diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia. (I hadn’t even told him of my first diagnosis of it and brought him no medical records) He installed me in a 3 day Fibromyalgia program there, where the Fibromyalgia specialist confirmed the diagnosis and gave instructions as to the lifestyle changes I needed to make. I have followed instructions and changed my eating habits and am happy to say my health was restored!! Cathy Sowers was too quick to give up on me OR had no knowledge of Fibromyalgia/carb. intolerance, as neither was ever even MENTIONED by her. AND she insulted my person by suggesting it was all in my head!! I will NEVER return."
