"Twice now, July 2023 original prescription and now for refill picked up in October, my prescription was supposed to have a quantity of 90 pills. The quantity said 90 on the bottle, however both times there were 100 pills. When I went back to the pharmacy when this happened in July I was told they don't really care because it's not narcotics. I was shocked and figured someone just doesn't want to deal with it. When I went back this time for the refill and it happened again, I asked to speak to someone in charge about quantity control and explained I was getting more pills than I was supposed to be getting, the guy said "So, what's the problem?" I said the bottle says 90 and there's 100 in it. He asked if it's for a chronic condition and I said yes and he said " Then what's the problem?" I said the problem is the bottle says 90 and you guys are giving me a 100. He said "It doesn't matter, it's not a narcotic and nobody's going to get in trouble for it." I said it is a problem because your inventory with what I have been given is already short 20 pills. Again he said "It's not a problem." I said it is. Somebody isn't counting the pills correctly." To which he said "It's the robotic, not a person and nobody is going to get in trouble over it." I could tell he was getting very agitated with me when he said " If you want to get just 90 pills you should go to Walgreens to fill your prescription for now on." As I took my bottle of pills off of the counter and stuffed them into my pocket saying none of this makes sense and turned to leave I couldn't help think that this was the craziest thing I've ever experienced at a Military Pharmacy in over 40 years."
"Best military clinic in South Dakota. And the immunization technician is painless."
"They were good at first, but then when I went to Pediatrics for the first time it did not go well. First they switch my appointment time from 2:40 to 2:20, no big deal. When I arrive they don't come and get us until 3:00. We go back get height and weight, then wait for the doctor. Another 15 minutes go by and the nurse comes and said the doctor is still not ready. So at that point it's a little ridiculous. If they couldn't see you then just say it instead of making us wait that long. They don't even apologize for wasting your time. So right now not a fan of Pediatrics. I get that things come up but have the decency to let you know that we should probably reschedule"
"Sometimes you hear that military medical sucks. I’ve only had great experiences here, the doctors are always professional and actually listen to your needs. I love the MedGrp!"
