"Peaceful! Still frozen over but the stunning milky green color was showing off below the blue sky. The overlook gives a good view of the entire lake!"

"Out of state visitor, came for the Southern Hills Triathlon. Great venue, beautiful reservoir, super clean & raked sandy beach front, paved hike/run/bike trail. The trail is fully paved, so strollers and wheelchairs are possible (be aware, there are some steep sections). Only $8 per day to park. Camp sites available for tents & RVs. There are cabins & lodges to rent too. It's so clean and nice, you'd think you're at a tropical resort. Planning to return next year."

"We had site 149 in the Horse head campground (electric). It's crushed gravel with a picnic table and fire ring. We had a bit of shade which was great cuz it was 90 when we were there. We had Verizon and dish satellite service at this site. I took the walking path for 3.5 miles one morning along the reservoir. Very clean restrooms."

"Actually four campgrounds within the park, about 150 sites total, most are elec only. FHU for Hosts/volunteers only. Rolling hills, lots of trees, cabins and tent sites too. Sites are crushed gravel, all have tables and fire rings"

"Had one of the best camping trips ever hat creek campground is very nice and it seems to be away from the big crowds and more peaceful so glad I lucked out picking it"
