"Really cool trail. A little strenuous and I wouldn't recommend it for elderly or young kids, there are several creek crossings so wear your river shoes and some shorts. It's not easy on older dogs or small dogs."
"Fun trail! The trail is rocky and a lot of roots underfoot. Watch where you're going so you don't trip! We crossed the river around 7 times. We really enjoyed the hike, it is beautiful!"
"About 2 miles round trip from parking lot. I did it in motorcycle boots. Precarious footing crossing the stream over 10 times. Water shoes would be best. Lots of great pics to take along the way. Please DO NOT leave your disgusting trash along the way!"
"Such a fun trail! Be prepared to get wet, lots of walking through the creek. The slide at the end was so much fun! There is a bit of a current under the slide so be cautious. I am not a strong swimmer and I was fine. The water is very cold but refreshing on a hot day! It is dog friendly but we had to carry our dog for some of it towards the end because there is a stronger current. The trail is not marked but it is a busy trail and the path is clear in most spots. Although we did have to ask someone where to start the trail from the parking area."
"From the parking lot you’ll want to follow the trail to the left towards Cleopatra Place (it’s a gravel road). It is private property, and there isn’t parking there. I’d rate the trail as “easy plus” I’ve been on trails that were “moderate” that were easier, and harder. Once we made the decision to not try to stay on top of rocks at stream crossing the hike got better. We hiked in chacos and it was fine, but my husband would have preferred his boots. 6 months pregnant, and it took us about an hour out and back."
