"It's Hit or Miss at the Rapid City Sally Beauty Supply I have learned to call before I drive from Lead South Dakota to Rapid City to the beauty supply because nine times out of 10 when I get there they don't have the thing that I'm going there for which is usually hair color and it's been several several years since they changed their inexpensive makeup line Sally girl I used to buy brick house I think it was called eyeshadow single eyeshadows for 99 cents or a dollar the best color the best red eyeshadow I ever used then it changed and it was still the same but a little bit different name but it was not the same the color was not like it had been I ended up ordering online you buy an eyeshadow for a dollar you're paying more for shipping and handling so and they never had that color that's why I ended up having to order it as far as customer service that's also hit or miss and as far as products being a licensed hair stylist I have no problems buying stuff at Sally Beauty shampoo conditioners some of them I just won't even give a thought to but that's probably because I'm not knowledgeable in it I buy a lot of my Combs styling tools hot tools there hair color there is fine I use the ion a lot and I use Lime Crime a lot and their nail polishes eyelashes all that it's great I have no problem with Sally Beauty Supply but Rapid City it's hit or miss with customer service and with having what you go there for and when you drive an hour and they don't have it yeah you learn to make that phone call First and I've decided that any more customer service has went out the window unfortunately but John Q public can also be hard to deal with the customer is always right really is not a thing anymore and I have been a hair stylist for many many years and always worked in the service industry so it's both sides but they can do a little better with their customer service at times and I guess that's all"

"Just left all my stuff on the counter and left. Was asked after an entire 15 min I was in there If I needed help. All they were doing was stocking shelves and asking other customers if they needed assistance. I was going to buy 50$ worth of product and maybe more if they actually helped me. It's a strange feeling not being acknowledged in a establishment. The Sally's back home in Texas would have never made me feel like these women did to me today. Any fellow womem I would just recommend ordering beauty products on amazon as they are cheaper and you won't get the strange unwelcome treatment I experienced today!!"
