"Can't return phone calls. Left two messages for an appointment AND stopped in to leave number. STILL no returned contact. If you are too busy or whatever JUST say so! This took place over two and week period. Cell phone numbers on your machine are NOT for hair stylist. No excuse for not returning after I left number with people in shop."

"As a very recent newcomer to the community I googled salons in our area. As with everything on the internet I found good and bad reviews. So this is a lengthy but thorough review for those new or passing through! I spent time talking to locals I met and specifically who had lived in the area for a while. I also took time to ask people I saw with specific color, cuts or nails where or who did their service! I received repeated recommendations for Allure and multiple stylists within the salon as well! After seeing different services in person I felt confident these ladies are capable of delivering excellent services! So I took the time to walk in and book an appointment in person. Ashley was very up front about the time frame between the day I booked my appointment and my actual appointment, which I appreciated and completely understood! My experience with Ashley exceeded my personal expectations! She delivered an amazing color/cut! We talked about my expectations and she talked me through what she had envisioned and SHE DELIVERED! She was courteous, thorough and repeatedly asked if I was comfortable with the direction we were going and the end result. If you are willing to be flexible, plan ahead and maybe wait a little bit for big appointment, the end result is so WORTH IT! One thing to note-as a fellow stylist I did not expect a walk in appointment or a prompt appointment. These ladies have spent years building clientele and I had the expectation it was going to be a while to get a color appointment! A haircut or other service may require less time and I may have been able to squeeze in sooner! ALSO-these ladies also live in Custer, if you are NOT within the immediate area of town, cell service is spotty at best. With this day and age of technology, they use mostly their personal phones as their business phone. Calls do not ALWAYS GO THROUGH! I recommend stopping in and talking to them in person or texting if you do not get through!"

"Strange business! Can’t answer a phone ever!! So you leave a message and no body calls back! Then I left a message saying I can’t believe how they run a business! That did get me a call back and called me mean and told me never to come there again!! No problem! So Ashley no problem! And after you told me never to come there again and have a blessed day!
