The service is great as my prescriptions are consistently filled in a timely manner with caring and knowledgeable pharmacists and techs who have always been happy and ready to help me. I feel so much better shopping locally too and appreciate and enjoy the personal touch provided by staff. Many times it's a one stop shop for me too because of the whole Boyd's West store. From the pharmacy to the gift department, cosmetics, Post Office, and misc. grocery/liquor, I will continue to be a satisfied customer. Thanks Boyd's West!"

"Came in to pick up medications for my husband. I have never dealt with such a rude pharmacy technician she doesn’t wear a name tag so couldn’t get her name but she has blonde hair. I am not sure how she still has a job there. She acts as if she has no time for you. I work in a pharmacy and would never treat a customer this way. How embarrassing this must be for Boyd’s."

"I have been getting my meds here for the last 3-5 years and up until the last year or so I have been dealing with a rude employee there named Alisa and she never seems to want to help with customers and always wants to just stay in the back. The other day I was in there and stood there for 15 mins and she wouldn’t even come over over or look at me when talking and it was hard for me to even understand what she was saying because it was more under her breath then anything. All I was trying to do was see when my med was picked up last month and if I ended up picking it up at Byods East because Byods West was out. She said she couldn’t do that with her system even though they are the same stores and use the same system and even if you couldn’t she could have responded by saying she could call and check into that for me but nope I just stood there awkwardly and finally had enough so went and told the cashier lady Laurie with the longer hair that I would come back and get help from someone else tomorrow that was actually wanting to help customers. The next day I came and picked up my med and Steve was working and he is always so nice and friendly and also made a point to talk to me and he also let me know another one of my meds had just came in from the doctor and he could get it filled in the next 10-15 mins if I wanted to wait. I witnessed him engaging with multiple customers during this busier time and he was still so helpful and happy to help them verses the experience I had the day before when I was the only customer at the time and couldn’t even get an employee to speak loud enough for me to hear or look at me. I wrote a note about wanting a manager to call me when she returned the following week and I ended up having to call because I never received a call. She said she had got my note and it would be addressed but also isn’t aware that I have been going there for so long that I know multiple people who work there and was informed that my note was received but was read out loud to all staff that morning and to make matters worse by the individual that was so rude towards me so I doubt that individual will be dealt with as it seems she does what she wants there. I don’t know where it is okay for any employee to be looking at managers stuff or reading notes wrote directly to the manager to the rest of the staff. I am just really disappointed and wish this would be dealt with the way it needs to be because this is not the first time she has been rude towards me or other staff. I have had the cashiers ask questions and she has literally rolled her eyes when responding as if our question was interrupting her. I wish all the employees were as nice and personal as Steve!"

"Great Pharmacy here in SD. I'm from out of town, went to the Urgent Care across the parking lot and they recommended this place. So far so good, the staff was super friendly and they took good care of me. If you're local or from out of town I'm confident that this place is a good choice!"
