"Glad we stopped in. Very friendly staff. Great help with getting our parking pass for the national forest. We are newly moved here to South Dakota from AZ. Got information on the Black Hills. No open fires or grilling allowed here. Propane or a gas fueled stove with an off switch is all that is allowed for dispersed camping here. Wish Arizona would adopt the same thing!!"

There's much more to see than Mount Rushmore and Ponderosa trees if you know where to look!"

"Nice camp ground. They have picnic tables and fire rings. Close to highway. You really can't see traffic, but you can hear it. There r a few sites near the river. Vault toilets and potable water."
