"Doctor Franklin thought it would be a good idea to take a nap while my girlfriend and I waited over 2 hours for her infant son's blood work to come back with no mention to the rotating nurses whatsoever. Sorry we were such an inconvenience!"
"I had the VA send me here for my mammogram. Everyone from registration, to the tech was professional but would joke around with me. They contacted the VA numerous times for me to ensure I didn’t end up with a surprise bill! I will be staying local for all my upcoming needs!"
"This place and people who work here are amazing! Had an emergency in our family tonight, we called ahead to let them know what happened and we were on our way. They went above and beyond, we were in good hands!! Thank you again new castle!"
"We recently had a clinic visit that turned into an ER visit for my 8 year old son. Dr. Bybee in the clinic was amazing and did a lot of advocating for my son. The nurses in the hospital were amazing. Although getting an IV is never fun, they made the experience pleasant for a worried mamma and a scared boy. Would definitely recommend our hospital and it’s staff to others."
"I took my elderly mom to the ER with left lower quadrant pain and she was seen by a very disinterested Dr who strolled in 30 minutes after we arrived in his shorts and t-shirt stating he just finished his workout. He asked my mom the same questions the triage nurse asked as if he had not even bothered to look at her triage note. He then proceeded assess my mom without washing his hands by pushing on her left lower abdomen 9 times (yes I counted), each time causing immense pain like it would magically change or disappear. He continued his disinterested behavior both times he came in the room, after labs and CT scan (which we basically had to insist on). It's probably only fair to him to say that I have been a Certified Emergency Nurse for many years so I feel like my expectations were not unreasonable and I do understand the standards of care one should expect from an Emergency Room. I would definitely NOT use this facility for any of my family in the future."
