"We have had barbecue across the country and this is among the best we have had. This includes places like Kansas City, Memphis, Dallas... The standard for me is how good the brisket and ribs are. Here it is amazing every-time we stop in. Luckily its not in our home town or I would be 50#'s heavier. Always order plenty so we have take home as it heats up so well. Staff is always so friendly and helpful!"

"I always look for BBQ when I travel. The reviews sold me on J.R.'s. The food was amazing! I had brisket and my two sides were cole slaw and baked beans. Meat was so flavorful...great crust on it... barely used any sauce. Highly recommend!"

"Wow! I go to a lot of barbecue places all around the country. It's my favorite type of food. This place has been the best so far. I understand that everybody likes a different flavor and taste, but this one is perfect for me. The sauce was sweet. The meat was delicious, Juicy, and falling apart. The mac and cheese had a little bit of spice to it which was perfect. Today was beef rib Friday. So I ordered that and a taste of brisket. The beef rib came as a giant chunk of meat with no bone. I was surprised. It was delicious!"
