"We had a wonderful experience with Compass Rose Law Firm for updating our living trust. We had a trust from the previous state we lived in and needed to make sure there would be no problems with it since we retired in South Dakota and plan to live here for the rest of our lives. Our updated trust is so thorough - much more detailed than what we had from our previous attorney. My aunt died in NV shortly after we restated our trust with Compass Rose. She had given my cousin power of attorney and had a trust from FL but because it didn't specify burial arrangements, my sister and cousin had to coordinate with my father (next of kin) to get the required paperwork completed to comply with my aunts wishes for burial. When I checked our trust, everything is covered so all the extra running around by my cousin, sister, and father would not have been necessary as it is included in our trust. As I said, very thorough. And pricing was reasonable! If you are looking to create a living trust (and everyone should, especially if you have kids) and you live near Rapid City, I highly recommend David Hansen and Compass Rose Law Firm."
