"Crab cakes in SD? What in the hell were they thinking? Thinking like geniuses is what! According to my wife, best crab cake Benny-dict ever! My chicken fried steak and potatoes were awesome. Great service from Chris!"

"Nice place! I wanted some pancakes and these were nice, big, and fluffy. Could have used more butter but they were so filling and yummy. Eggs and coffee were meh. Good crispy bacon tho! Service was good and friendly if slow but the place was packed on a Sunday so I think they just need more servers which isn’t easy in this day and age to get. Meal price was about $20 which is slightly expensive but also common for restaurants in spearfish. All in all a nice little place to visit to have that classic breakfast feeling. I enjoyed it :) This building has housed many different restaurants over the years and I hope this one survives."

"The restaurant is located in what was formerly the Spearfish Opera House. Great location! The owners are very friendly. One is a cook, one a waitress and one a host. The service was exceptional. Beverages were kept full. It is small but quaint. The restaurant is VERY clean. The atmosphere is relaxing. One of us had Jeff's Gooey Mess Skillet. It was delicious! One of us had eggs, toast & hashbrowns. Eggs were perfect over-easy. Hashbrowns and toast were very good. The lunch menu contains delicious sounding options. Highly recommend for their good, homemade meals!"

"Nice, quiet breakfast place in downtown Spearfish. Dishes ranging in price $15-18 per plate. Portions were pretty decent. Black coffee is almost $4. Short staffed the day we stopped, but service was still good. Overall, I would recommend trying this restaurant."

"A very welcome addition to the block! The food was generously portioned and well cooked. There was a little bit of a wait, but it was Mother's Day morning and they only have 9 booths and 5 tables, so that's to be expected. I hope to see them here for a very long time."
