"Great spot for dinner in Spearfish. Gets busy quick so get a reservation or get there early. Our service was excellent and the food was generally very good. My only complaint was that my salad came with quite a bit of brown and wilting lettuce. Had the prime rib special on a Friday night and it was delicious. Potato smashers as a side were excellent."

"Two employees at the I-90 welcome/ rest center heading to South Dakota from Wyoming recommended Steerfish Steak and Smoke. I'm traveling with a friend and he wanted a steak dinner, so we went in this evening. Steerfish was fantastic. The staff were friendly throughout. Our server Stormy was spectacular, very attentive and helpful with recommendations. The food was delicious. We had a great experience. Our only regret is we are from out of town so we may never go back. We'd definitely stop by again if we were in Spearfish in the future. Check it out. We had about a 20 minute wait for a table around 6:45pm on a Monday, but everything after the was very efficient."

"THE BEST RESTAURANT IN AMERICA! After a 10 day road trip acrossed the US, boy did we save the best for last! Absolutely AMAZING FOOD! Every appetizer, meal and dessert plate was full, very very tasty and satisfying!! We are 9hrs away and would in a HEARTBEAT drive 9hrs to eat here again! We can't stop talking about this place! Don't hesitate just GO...RUN...DRIVE...to this AWESOME restaurant!! Love love LOVE IT!! We ABSOLUTELY will be back!! Waitresses we're super nice and did a fantastic job as well! Kuddos to the cook..give them a HUGE raise!"
