"Love this place. It offers a sense of nostalgia for me as it is very similar to a pizza place from my childhood. The counter service can be a little abrupt sometimes, but usually generally friendly. Their cook times are always on point, if not a lot faster than estimated. And most importantly, their pizza is on point and always worth the drive from Rapid. My only complaint is that they don’t put a base layer of cheese down first, so the toppings can slide off sometimes. Regardless , this is easily one of my favorite area pizza places and always worth the drive from town."

"This is a must eat at place when visiting the Black Hills! A wonderful place to eat and meet with friends! The pizza is great! You can get your pizza the way you want they way you want! I have yet to have a bad pizza there! In the summer come early because it gets busy! During the winter it doesn't get as busy but during the summer, it is standing room only. The pizza is worth the wait and standing! Kids will love the pizza!"

"Pizza was delish, as usual. We got the Big Fat Greek, which never disappoints. That and an ice cold beer hit the spot on a warm day spent in the hills. However, the atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired. Kinda meh. We weren't sure whether to bus our own table or leave everything there. Also, the entire time we were there, we probably heard six words total from the staff from the point where we ordered our food until we left. Also, didn't care for the cheesy paper plates. I would suggest they invest in some melamine, durable plates that make the experience feel a little bit less throw away. All in all, we love the pizza so we'll be back!"

"We've lived in South Dakota for over a year now and have been trying to find more local favorites. I recently downloaded the Travel South Dakota Experience app and this restaurant came up under SD Great Finds. Wow! I'm personally not a big fan of pizza, but my husband loves pizza. This place is great and has so many different options, all cook to order. I had the Texas Tornado and the combination of Franks and their housemade red sauce was fantastic. We also had a great conversation with the owner as well. Definitely stop by this place if you're in the area!"
