"Do yourself a favor and call this place first! Our car died at the entrance of Custer State Park when we were visiting from out of town. LJ’s provided an estimate up front, they were professional and kind, and they recommended a great mechanic. By the time we were done unloading in Rapid City it was late, dark, and our kids were falling asleep in the truck. LJ’s went out of their way to drop us off safely at our hotel. You won’t find better people than this crew!"

"A big thank you to Mr. Colton Jinks, Owner of LJ's Recovery & Towing, Custer, South Dakota for helping me get out of a difficult situation. The previous day I discovered my front tire on my Ford E-450 RV had gone flat. After contacting Good Sam's Roadside Assistance, a towing service was dispatched from Sturgis, SD. The driver admitted he didn't change tires too often and proceeded to change my flat tire using a new spare tire and wheel that came with the RV. He completed the tire change and left. The next day I started to pull out of the campsite and the front wheel would not roll, forward or backward. I had gotten the flat tire repaired so I called Ford Roadside Assistance. Mr. Jinks came and spotted the problem immediately. The spare wheel was the wrong size and was catching on the front brake causing it to lock up. After Mr. Jinks changed the tire, putting the original back on, the wheel turned freely. Mr. Jinks saved our day and we were able to continue our journey. I learned a lesson from this mishap: always make sure the spare wheel is the right size and spin the wheel before letting the jack down. A 5 star rating to Mr. Jinks and his company. I will call him first if I am ever in the area again and need help. Thanks again Mr. Colton Jinks."

"Best experience ever in a bad situation. I can’t say enough about Colton and his team! I’m an old school guy that just tells people when I get good service/treatment. Apparently this is the new way of doing things. I wrecked my motorcycle and Colton was called out to pick up my bike. He was very experienced in loading the bike and had a nice clean truck. He gave me a ride to where I needed to go to and gave me some options on how I could handle things. He had great advice since he deals with insurance companies all of the time. I will be going back to Sturgis in 2025 and will definitely stop by the yard to thank them all again."
