"Care was lax. Medical personnel were brusque, terse, uncaring. My nurse and the aide were ok altho they both forgot to instruct me how to work the pain med pump and they both forgot to give me the incentive spirometer until I was walking out of the hospital."

Cyberbullying & bullying in general significantly increases the risk of suicidal thoughts in those who struggle with mental illness of any kind. By employing these types of people, Rural Physicians Group strongly contradicts their mission to “save lives and save communities”. I am genuinely disappointed that not even those in health care can be trusted to carry themselves professionally and empathetically on social media."

I like that the folks who run this corporation are practicing physicians and have a hands off philosophy about how we practice medicine as long as we show up, practice science based medicine, and are kind and have empathy towards the patients we treat. They expect notes to be written, H&P and discharge summaries to be completed on time. For these minimal requirements, they pay well and try to provide decent housing for us at the facilities we work at. So if you are a low maintenance individual that wishes to have some control of your schedule and life then consider working for RPG. It would be nice if there were some benefits to RPG such as 401K, in house collections etc but I really like it the way it is."
