"While health insurance and medical expenses are soaring, the standard of service is noticeably deteriorating at an alarming rate. The staff in the billing department of South Denver Gastroenterology exhibited a lack of professionalism and courtesy. It was proposed that we be held financially responsible for charges that were not within our obligation. Upon presenting the relevant facts in a respectful manner, the charges were subsequently waived. However, this was done with a discernible reluctance, and the representative’s demeanor suggested dissatisfaction with her job's role. It is imperative that individuals placed in customer-facing positions possess the requisite qualifications and interpersonal skills to engage with patients effectively."

"Everything about my experience was positive. All the staff were very friendly and explained everything that was about to happen and answered all my questions without it feeling like I was rushed. On top of friendliness and knowledgable, everyone seemed like they really loved what they were doing which made me feel more comfortable and like I was in good hands. "Left a review for the Endoscopy Center too. This place was a nightmare to deal with for months. Unbelievably poor communication across the board. Wouldn't return calls, acted like they couldn't hear me when we were on a call, then just canceled my appointment 2 days before it. I had a colonoscopy scheduled and had received an email reminder 6 days before. Then when I went to get my medication the pharmacy said they didn't have anything for me. All for me to call the next morning and find out they had cancelled this without calling me with no real reason, then starting arguing with me on top of it. I already had people take off work to be there for transportation and more importantly now need to seek out medical attention elsewhere. This place is a total joke. If you value your well being, go anywhere but here. Edit: I was scheduled for what I was scheduled for. No one called me 3 times. Your front office person even acted like they couldn't hear me when I did finally get through to someone. Nice of you all to share patients private information on here too. Likely a serious violation of patient privacy to actually try to defend yourselves. If I have issues when I get checked elsewhere you better believe my attorney will be contacting you. Cussed at after you all cancelled my appointment and I found out that way? You deserve much worst."
